The Pepper Bird is a Danish design pepper grinder in mahogany, ash, maple, and walnut woods.

It is created by the self-taught Danish designer Sven-Erik Tonn-Petersen (Tonn-P) i the late 1950s. It is a Danish design icon brought back to life in 2015 by Spring Copenhagen in partnership with Tonn-P's family.

The Salt Penguin makes a perfect companion to the Pepper Bird

The Pepper Bird and the Salt Penguin go hand-in-hand, and the two design icons have been inseparable since their creation. They are an obvious wedding present or a birthday gift for the playful couple with a good taste for design icons and Danish design.

The Pepper Bird is a design icon from the Danish post-war era

The Pepper Bird was first produced in the late 1950s, and it became an instant favorite in Danish homes. The Pepper Bird brings a good mood to the dining table. It is a humorous, decorative item that creates lots of excitement among kids.

After a few years in the spotlight, the Pepper Bird faded. But it had already become a design icon, and many connoisseurs sought it out at antique furniture shops. It is therefore no surprise that it became an instant "new-classic" when Spring Copenhagen relaunched it in 2015.

The Pepper Bird is an easily recognizable everyday icon that once again can spread life and joy at dining tables around the world.
