Jesper Wolff wanted to create a natural, lively, and functional salt grinder inspired by the Northern Hemisphere's wildlife.
He thought it was obvious to combine the natural ability of owls to turn their heads with the mechanics of salt and pepper grinders. He was also fascinated by the owl's characteristically alert appearance, which he attempted to imitate in his interpretation of the modern salt and pepper grinders. That's how the Snowy Owl and Pepper Owl came to life.

Clean with a damp cloth. Apply beeswax regularly on all our products for maintenance, then they will last a lifetime and beyond, as they can be passed on from generation to generation.
