The Chamber Candlestick is minimalistic design
Even though the Chamber Candlestick appears to be ultra simple, Thor Høy has created a small miracle with the walnut wood and in an almost magical manner managed to make it bend. Exactly like an antique candlestick in brass.
But, in fact it's not possible to bend wood this way. Instead, the "bent" corner is milled to make it look like the walnut is bent like metal. Thor Høy draws on his experience in jewelry design to create the unique illusion and elegant distinctiveness.
The Chamber Candlestick is made out of walnut
Thor Høy found his inspiration in the classical candlesticks in brass and silver from the 1500s and 1600s. It is minimalistic design and a practical little candlestick in walnut that matches modern and classic interior design.
Its small nook makes it each to carry between tables.
